We all want to sell our homes fast and for the most amount of money.  That’s just normal.  A lot of times, selling a home comes down to finances. The truth is many people don’t have a lot of financial where-with-all when it comes to selling their home.

There are, however, three small things you can do to prepare yourself to sell you home and to sell it fast.

The first, keep it clean.  It sounds simple, right, but unfortunately, your idea of clean and what many buyer’s think are two different things.  I would suggest, if you can swing it to hire a professionally cleaning company like Cleanology.  Why?  They are trained to make sure homes are cleaned specifically for sale.  When you book a cleaning with them, you can get a $25 discount on the cleaning through me.  Just call me at 619-818-2992 for info on how to do that.

Second, painting.  It’s going to be a chore, yes and if you don’t have a ton of money, you’ll have to do it yourself, however, it’s important that you get you house cleaned and painted.  If you’re not a painter, I have resources where we can get that taken care of, however, that’s going to be critical in getting your home sold.

The third and final thing.  Staging or fluffing your stuff.  That means, if you have a vacant home, you’ll need to get your home professionally staged.  Now, who pays for that?  Typically, it’s the homeowner that pays for staging.  In some cases, we split the cost with the sellers.
